The candidate of the ACUM bloc for Chisinau municipality mayoralty, Andrei Năstase, promises that all the best from the programs of some candidates with whom he competed in the first round of elections will be found in his agenda/activity program. Andrei Năstase referred, in particular, to the electoral programs of Octavian Țîcu and Dorin Chirtoaca. He avoided to give a straightforward answer whether he would accept Octavian Țîcu's proposal not to form a coalition in the CMC with the Socialists in exchange for his support in round two, IPN reports.

"For instance, I found some very good ideas on which insisted Dorin Chirtoaca - the continuation of some European projects that have been suspended. Of course, we will resume and complete these projects, maybe even improving them," said Andrei Năstase on " Politics of Natalia Morari "show, TV8.

At the same time, Andrei Năstase has mentioned that he noticed candidate Victor Chironda in the election campaign and he would appreciate if he or a part of his team would join him to work side by side. "Victor Chironda is a young man whom I have singled out for some time. I have to avow that before leaving for the US, I met with Victor and I proposed him to make up a team, "said the candidate.

Nastase has not clearly said whether the ACUM bloc will form a political majority in the Chisinau Municipal Council. He has argued that the majority is created around projects. According to him, the councillors of the bloc will submit projects that any councillor can endorse and vice versa, they will support the projects submitted by other councillors, if they target the welfare of Chisinau inhabitants.

Andrei Năstase accumulated 31.08% of the votes on Sunday, while his counter-candidate Ion Ceban from the Socialist Party - 40.19%.
