The candidate for mayor of Chisinau of the Party “Platform Dignity and Truth” (PPPDA) Andrei Nastase submitted a denouncing statement, asking to take legal action over voter corruption based on a notice submitted by the PPPDA observer at polling place No. 270 Sergiu Olishchenko, who informed Andrei Nastase that persons were taken in an organized way by a minibus to that polling place, IPN reports.

According to the party, the observer was aggressed by the representative of the Party of Socialists when this tried to take pictures. “There are reasonable suspicions to believe that the voters who were taken to the polling place in a centralized way were offered money, goods, etc.” stated the PPPDA.

Earlier, Andrei Nastase submitted a complaint over the fact that at polling place No. 267 there were identified one seal on the ballot boxes instead of four. At polling place No. 251, a number of persons illegally voted through the mobile ballot box. Nastase asked to ascertain the committed violations and to annul the registration of the given applications to vote by the mobile ballot box.
