Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Internal Affairs, Andrei Nastase, announced that on September 21, after his return from the planned visit to the United States of America, he would enter the election campaign for the position of mayor of Chisinau municipality. The campaign launching will take place at "Green Theatre" in the capital city. The announcement was made on "In depth" show, PRO TV Chisinau, IPN reports.
"On the 21st, I will launch my campaign. I hope all goes well by then. I hope I will submit all the documents on time and in order and on the 21st I will invite all supporters from the city and from outside to be with the ACUM Bloc candidate”, declared Andrei Năstase.
Also, the PPDA leader says that at the current polls in Chisinau municipality he has to obtain an even better score than in the previous elections right from the first round. "I rely on the people’s trust in me, on my actions, on what I have done over time. I am confident that in the last period of time, when I had alternatives such as to stay in Parliament, to campaign for four months, I did not choose to do this. I chose to work on dismantling the former regime,” said Andrei Năstase.
At the same time, the politician says that the governing coalition formed by ACUM bloc and the Socialist Party has not yet achieved all the proposed objectives. Andrei Nastase says that in no case will he "negotiate truth and justice." "We have not yet achieved everything we envisaged," the minister stated.
