Andrei Nastase and Maia Sandu intend to continue to protest

The leader of the Civic Platform “Dignity and Truth” Andrei Nastase and former minister of education Maia Sandu said they will continue to protest so as to obtain early parliamentary elections and will not take into account the answer given by Speaker Andrian Candu after a recent meeting with this. Such statements were made in the talk show “Politics” on TV 7 channel, IPN reports.

“Andrian Candu wants legal arguments about the necessity of early elections. We will give an answer in this Sunday’s protest. The main argument is that the population no longer wants them. They are hypocritical persons who lack common sense. The people must mobilize and we will continue to protest. Only this way can we remove the government. I call on everyone to take to the streets,” said Andrei Nastase.

Maia Sandu said she will continue to protest together with her supporters. “This government didn’t offer us other solutions than to protest. They committed a lot of violations when they voted in the Government. If they hadn’t managed to present the government program in Parliament, they should have done it before the crowd. The early elections are necessary and we must prepare for them. The administration of some of the institutions should be replaced and we should also seek support from the foreign partners,” stated the ex-minister.
