The Moldovan Boxing Federation summed up the results of 2021. Andrei Kiriakov from Tiraspol, who finished fifth at the World Championships and won bronze at the Under 22 European Championships, was named the best male pugilist, IPN reports.

Daria Cozorez from Tiraspol, who ranked second at the Youth World Championships and finished third at the Under 22 European Championships, was named the best female boxer.

The awardees in the youth category are Vladislav Gudzi and Cristina Chiperi, also from Tiraspol. They ranked fifth at the Youth World Boxing Championships.

Anatolie Dovgopol and Maxim Chertykovtsev became the best coaches.
