Andrei Brighidin and Natalia Moloșag are the candidates for the post of ombudsperson who will be proposed to Parliament. The candidates were selected today by a special commission created for the purpose, IPN reports.
The commission’s head Olesea Stamate said the two candidates were assessed as the most suitable ones for the post of ombudsperson at the interview stage. All the candidates who were interviewed today were well prepared.
According to Ana Racu, the commission’s deputy head, the candidates were put the same six specific questions so as to correctly assess the preparedness level of everyone.
Earlier today, BCS MP Vasile Bolea said the contest to choose candidates for the post of ombudsperson is being mimicked and its result is clear. He anticipated that the candidates who will be proposed to Parliament for confirmation are Maia Bănărescu, who is related to an MP, and Violeta Gașițoi, who represents the diaspora.
The interview stage involved nine candidates.
