Anatol Țăranu: Political dialogue is replaced with street events that can degenerate

Political pundit Anatol Țăranu said such a crisis as the one witnessed presently in Moldova is usually resolved on the street, when there is no political dialogue. “The political dialogue is replaced with street events. The streets events not always degenerate into violence, but this happens rather often,” the expert was quoted by IPN as saying in a talk show on TVR Moldova channel.

MP of the Bloc ACUM Octavian Țîcu said it is now crucial for Moldova to bring things in the country to normality by removing the oligarchic regime. By the common effort of the PSRM and ACUM, hundreds of thousands of people can be brought to the central square of Chisinau to protest. “It is now very important for the police and the Ministry of the Interior to show firmness. It does not go to threats. It is not the case to make threats. Each officer, each police employee should take an assumed decision to take sides with the representative and constitutional power,” stated the MP.

Socialist MP Grigore Novac noted the parties that formed a Parliamentary majority met the deadlines and all the steps taken by the legislature are absolutely legal. The Constitutional Court’s decision to dissolve Parliament was a political one aimed at causing a stalemate.
