Wrestler Anastasia Nikita won silver at the Under 23 Seniors Wrestling Championships for the second year in a row. In Istanbul, she scored three victories, being beaten only by Bilyana Dudova of Bulgaria 1-3, IPN reports.
Anastasia Nikita became cadet European champion in 2015 and youth European champion and world youth vice champion in 2016. Last year, she won three silver medals: at the U20 European Championships, at the U23 European Championships and at the World Youth Championships.
The men’s competition starts in Istanbul today. Maxim Sacultan is the first Moldovan athlete who will enter the competition. He faces Dzianis Maksimau of Belarus.
