Wrestler Anastasia Nikita qualified for the final of the World Junior Wrestling Championships that are taking place in Slovakia, IPN reports.

In the 59 kg weight class, Tudor Carlan’s pupil beat Germany’s Debora Lawnitzak 12-2, Ukraine’s Tetiana Rizhko 10-0, Chinua’s Xiuyun Chen 17-6 and Ekaterina Firstova of Kazakhstan 10-0. In the final, Anastasia Nkita meets Japan’s Sae Nanjo.

In the 50 kg class, Mariana Dragutan lost to the future finalist Yui Susaki of Japan and will now compete in the playoffs.
