Ex-deputy minister of defense Ana Vasilachi dissociates herself from the joint statement on the internal and external dangers to state security that was made public in a news conference on March 9, 2016. In a news conference at IPN, the former deputy minister said the text of the joint statement wasn’t consulted with her. Ana Vasilachi offered public apologies to Minister of Defense Anatol Salaru.
The ex-deputy minister noted that what she said about the withdrawal of the social package didn’t affect the image of Minister Anatol Salaru because this package was withdrawn in 2009, when the post of minister was held by Vitalie Marinuta. She considers that the statements she made in that conference didn’t contain accusations against or direct insults to Anatol Salaru.
“If I personally offended somehow Mister Anatol Salaru and he considers that I should apologize, I offer my apologies for dissociating myself probably too late from the joint statement presented in a conference on March 9, 2016, entitled “Internal and external dangers to state security,” stated Ana Vasilachi.
