“I hope the future President of Moldova will be unionist,” candidate for President of The Right Ana Gutu said after casting her ballot, IPN reports.

Ana Gutu said the future Head of State should at least have an adviser on the given issue. “I think it’s time for the partnership between the Republic of Moldova and Romania to lead to a strategy on the union,” she stated.

“I think there are no more people with nostalgia for the Soviet period in the Republic of Moldova,” added the candidate.
