Moldova will have an International Taekwondo Academy. The project will be carried out under the auspices of the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF), IPN reports.

The opening of the Academy in Chisinau was attended by Chungwon Choue, head of the WTF (Olympic style), who also met with Prime Minister Valeriu Strelet. Choue expressed his confidence that the Academy will help the development of sports in Moldova and promoting the country's image abroad.

Similar projects have been started in other countries, where trainings are organized regularly for both coaches and athletes.
