About 30 members of the Moldova Noastra Alliance (AMN) protested Wednesday in front of the Central Election Commission (CEC) against the broadcast of videos made by the Communist Party, as they said, and presented as videos of the AMN, Info-Prim Neo reports. The protesters chanted “No More Lies” and “Don’t Lie the People with the Help of the TV”, etc. According to Victor Osipov, the spokesman for the AMN and candidate on behalf of the party, the CEC in this case acted exaggeratedly slowly. “When we wanted to broadcast adverts critical of the government, some of the CEC members banned it without waiting for the meeting of the Election Commission. Now they are not as quick,” Osipov said. He added that these videos are very dangerous because the voters cannot realize that they are counterfeits. “They are identical with the AMN’s advertisements, but include false commitments and end with the scene where “Urechean Guarantees”, Osipov said. For example, the least harmless commitment is that “Urechean will increase the retirement age”. The given ads were broadcast by several Moldovan televisions.
