AMN ministers remain in party's list of candidates for elections
The four ministers of the Moldova Noastra Alliance included in the party's list of candidates for the November 28 legislative elections remain in the lists, but will suspend the electoral activity if necessary, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“The Government has a majority and can take decisions, but if need be and meetings are announced beforehand, the four members of the Cabinet on behalf of the AMN will be withdrawn from the list for a period so that they can take part in the meetings,” the AMN leader Serafim Urechean told a news conference on October 11.
“The forthcoming elections are special and of a crucial importance for Moldova's future,“ he said, adding all their candidates this year have an impeccable reputation, with 37% of them being women.
Serafim Urechean stated the list will remain open by October 28 so that it still can be modified.
Asked by the journalists why the AMN member Veaceslav Platon is not in the list, Serafim Urechean said the decision not to include him was taken by the party's National Council.
The AMN leader stressed in the election campaign they intend to spend approximately the same amount as the previous years, but not more than the cap of 21.6 million lei. He also said the party's electoral platform will be presented later.
