AMN demands that Vladimir Turcan be investigated over organization of April 7 acts of vandalism

The Moldova Noastra Alliance (AMN) asks that the Prosecutor’s Office and the Security and Information Service investigate Vladimir Turcan over the organization of the April 7 acts of vandalism, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the party. According to the quoted source, the AMN demands that the relevant bodies institute legal proceedings over accusations of attempted overthrow in Moldova. “This application is based on the recordings broadcast by Jurnal TV, which show how the former head of the Parliament’s legal commission gives instructions to the provokers, planning the hoisting of the flags of the EU and Romania on the main state buildings,” the communiqué says. The party says that the decision to name Vladimir Turcan as chairman of the state commission for investigating the April 7 events was designed to block an inquiry that would have revealed the truth about the Communist administration’s role of organizer of the devastation of the buildings of the Parliament and the Presidential Office. ”The groundless insinuations that the Opposition was involved in an alleged attempted coup become valueless with the appearance of proofs about Turcanu’s involvement. The applications filed by the AMN will show the attitude of the Prosecutor’s Office and the Security and Information Service towards these events,” the AMN says in the communiqué.
