AMN calls on democratic parties to make everything possible to form coalitions

The leader of the “Moldova Noastra” Alliance Party Serafim Urecheanu welcomed from the rostrum of the Parliament the intention of most of the democratic forces to cooperate against the communist representatives in the elective bodies of the first and second level. The AMN urges the democratic parties to make everything possible to form a coalition, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to Urecheanu, this strategy is the only way of bringing the prosperous, democratic and European future of Moldova closer. As president of AMN, Urecheanu said that the party’s representatives make effort to form non-communist post-electoral alliances in all the councils where the election results allow it. Also, Urecheanu called on the democratic electorate and the parties that represent it to provide active support to the non-communist candidates in the settlements that will elect their mayor in the second round of voting on June 17. At the same time, a fair competition should be organised between the democratic candidates in the settlements where the communists were eliminated in the first round so as to preserve the chances of post-electoral cooperation. According to the AMN leader, the authorities pressurise the democratic politicians so as to hinder the formation of democratic alliances. In this connection, the “Moldova Noastra” Alliance will condemn any submission and any attempt to blackmail the future partners into taking the side of the communists, as it happened after the previous elections. Serafim Urecheanu assured that AMN will continue to confront the ruling party at all the levels of power, including within the local public administration bodies.
