Moldova Noastra Alliance (AMN) calls on civil servants and police officers not to get involved in the electoral race and refuse to execute abusive orders, Info-Prim Neo reports. “The employees of the law-enforcing bodies are the mostly exposed to the Communists' dirty games,” said AMN leader Serafim Urecheanu at a news conference on Tuesday. “I know very well how they promoted officers, absolutely loyal to the Communist government, to the top leadership of the Interior Ministry, by repeated staff cleansing,” he added. Urecheanu says “immediately after the AMN takes over the power, it will forbid the Communist ideology in Moldova and will declare the Communists Party illegal.” “We'll publicize the lawlessnesses committed by the Communists for eight years in power and the people will decide what to do by itself,” the AMN leader said. “The AMN sends a clear signal: only the political power is changing. Absolutely all the non-politicized specialists working in state institutions will keep their jobs and will continue to serve the country,” Urecheanu said. When asked by Info-Prim Neo, the PCRM representative about the Central Election Commission (CEC) rejected the accusations and said those were “electoral statements” and the AMN thus tried to make political advertising for itself on the account of the PCRM. As to Urecheanu's statement on the rejection of the Communist ideology, Sarbu said it was unconstitutional.
