The U.S. Embassy in Moldova invites the public to the American Film Festival 2014 in Tiraspol. It will take place at the “Tiraspol” Video Center between May 16 and May 21, IPN reports.

According to a press release of the Embassy, the opening of the festival at 6pm on May 16 will be attended by U.S. Ambassador William H. Moser. The mass media are invited.

This year, there will be screened 12 films to celebrate great American directors. They are of different genres, including drama, horror, action, comedy, family, and animation, and are for different tastes and age categories.

All the movies are shown in English with Russian subtitles. Entrance to all the screenings is free.
