Parliament today adopted in the final reading the draft law on the amendment of the State Budget Law for the current year. The draft envisages a decrease in revenues by 1,492.0 million MDL and in expenses by 1,327.4 million MDL. Hence, the deficit increases by 164.6 million MDL, IPN reports.
Budget corrections provide for a 22.7 million MDL expenditure cut for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, including 11.7 million MDL originally assigned for setting up embassies in Ghana, Argentina and India.
At the same time, there are estimated increases in the value added tax rate on imported goods, on goods produced and services provided on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, increases as regards the external grants for budget support, income tax for individuals, dividends and other increases.
The revenues of 2019 state budget will constitute 40 633 531,5 thousand MDL, the expenses - 46 336 817.6 thousand MDL, with a deficit in the amount of 5 703 286.1 thousand MDL.
