“Amber Grapes” Festival 2013 dedicated to founders

This year’s International Piano Duets Festival “Amber Grapes”, which is at its third edition, is dedicated to its founders – piano duet Anatolie Lapicus and Iurie Mahovici, who are celebrating 20 years of work.

Agnesa Rusu, head of the Artistic Management Division of the National Philharmonic “Sergey Lunkevich”, has told IPN that this duet has entertained the piano music lovers with different artistic programs based on the universal pianistic repertoire for 20 years.

ithin the festival, the spectators will listen to works from the universal repertoire performed by the duet Edward and Anna-Luiza Turgheon from the U.S. and the Belarusian duet Natalia Gromova and Valery Borovikov. There will also perform the Moldovan soloists Tatiana Costiuc (soprano), Victoria Luncasu-Popovschi (mezzo-soprano), and Andrei Otean (baritone).

The festival starts on October 7 and will last for three days.
