Ambassador Zdaniuk on Polish president’s visit to Chisinau on August 27

The President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, will land in Chisinau tomorrow. The Polish president will meet with President Maia Sandu and other high-ranking officials and, on August 27, will take part in the events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Moldova's independence. In this context, the Polish ambassador in Chișinău, Bartłomiej Zdaniuk, said that Poland stands in solidarity with Moldova's values.

"On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Moldova's independence, we Poles will also participate at the highest level. President Andrzej Duda is coming to Chișinău to attend these celebrations, to show the importance of Moldova in the constellation of Central and Eastern Europe, to give a new boost to our relations and to strengthen the solidarity between our countries", the ambassador said.

Moldova will celebrate the 30th anniversary of its declaration of independence on August 27. The presidents of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, and of Romania, Klaus Iohannis, are expected to attend the event.
