In 2017 we will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Moldovan-French diplomatic relations, Moldova’s Ambassador to France Lilian Moraru stated in the talk show “Place for dialogue” on Radio Moldova station, IPN reports.
The diplomat said that an agenda of the anniversary event was worked out. The program starts in February with a visit by a parliamentary delegation of Moldova to France. There will be staged a series of cultural activities in France and in Moldova.
Lilian Moraru stated that the diplomatic relations with Monaco are to be developed next year. Prince Albert II of Monaco was invited to make a visit to Moldova. “If this is achieved, given that Prince Albert seldom goes on official visits, we will consider it a diplomatic success,” he said.
Moldova’s Embassy in France will pay greater attention to the Moldovan diaspora. “I’m proud of our expatriates in France. They are people of high quality. We will continue to work to integrate these into French society and to promote the Republic of Moldova’s image in France,” said the ambassador.
