Ukraine’s Ambassador to Moldova Ivan Gnatishin was summoned to Kiev for consultations. The information was confirmed for IPN by the Embassy’s first secretary Sergei Orlov.
This said the ambassador was called to Kiev for discussing topical subjects concerning the bilateral relations. The exact date of the trip is not known.
According to Interfax Ukraine, the summing of the ambassador to Kiev could be related to the statements made by the candidate for President of Moldova Igor Dodon. On a TV channel, this said that Crimea belongs to the Russian Federation.
