Ambassador of Japan: We have important projects to implement in Moldova

The Government of Japan intends to implement a series of financial assistance projects in the Republic of Moldova, Ambassador Masanobu Yoshii stated in the program “Place for dialogue” on the public station Radio Moldova, IPN reports.

“When our financial assistance strategies coincide with the requests made by Chisinau, agreements are signed. We are glad to offer assistance in developing and ensuring stability in the Republic of Moldova,” stated the diplomat.

Masanobu Yoshii noted there are three main areas of Moldovan-Japanese cooperation: financial assistance, economic relations and commercial exchanges. The Embassy of Japan in Chisinau will also concentrate its attention on the cultural relations. In Chisinau, there will be staged the Japanese Film Week and Japanese language courses will be taught.

Japan’s Ambassador in Chisinau called on the winemakers to export their products to Japan, saying the Moldovan wines are highly appreciated on the Japanese market.

Japan ranks third by the volume of foreign assistance provided to Moldova and, even if it is at a big distance, it implemented important projects here.
