Prime Minister Pavel Filip highly appreciated the work done by Germany’s Ambassador in Moldova Julia Monar. In a meeting held on the occasion of the competition of the diplomat’s duties in Moldova on July 17, the Premier said that even if her term in office was short, Julia Monar managed to implement a number of initiatives and concrete measures, IPN reports, with reference to the Government’s press service.
“I appreciate your contribution to strengthening the Moldovan-German dialogue. We would like the good bilateral cooperation relations to continue so that we implement more common projects,” stated Pavel Filip.
Julia Monar noted the good cooperation relations and the possibility of being closely in contact with the executive. She underlined that the Moldovan-German relations are full of content and expressed her conviction that they will further improve. The diplomat welcomed the Government’s efforts to implement the reform agenda and reiterated Germany’s support for Moldova’s European course.
The same day, the Premier had a meeting with Russia’s Ambassador in Chisinau Farit Muhametshin, who also completed his duties. Pavel Filip thanked the Russian official for his work and this personal contribution to maintaining a pragmatic dialogue between the two states. He said Moldova is ready to further develop the bilateral relations based on mutual trust, with emphasis on the welfare of the citizens of the two states. He underlined Moldova’s interest in stimulating the economic cooperation and increasing trade with Russia.
Farit Muhametshin expressed his confidence that the restoration of the Moldovan-Russian intergovernmental commission for economic cooperation will boost the bilateral cooperation and will generate new results in the commercial-economic and investment sectors.
