Ambassador Daniel Ioniță will continue work in Chisinau by end-April

The Ambassador of Romania to the Republic of Moldova Daniel Ioniță, who was recently recalled to Bucharest, will leave Chisinau at the end of April, not yet before he pays farewell protocol visits and says goodbye to the many and dear friends in the Republic of Moldova, IPN reports.

“Until then, I will also fulfill the duties of the dean of the resident Diplomatic Corps in the Republic of Moldova and I’m proud I managed to produce an emblem and a booklet about the CD accredited here – the first in the history of the country of residence,” said the ambassador. He noted he will provide more details later.

Two weeks ago, Ambassador Daniel Ioniță was recalled. Shortly afterward, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania proposed Cristian-Leon Țurcanu for the post of Romania’s Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova.
