Ambassador Andrii Deshchytsia starts two-day visit to Chisinau and Tiraspol

The Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office for Conflicts Ambassador Andrii Deshchytsia started his two-day visit to Chisinau and Tiraspol. On September 26, Ambassador Deshchytsia and the Head of the OSCE Mission to Moldova, Ambassador Jennifer Brush will travel to Tiraspol to meet with Transnistrian leader Yevgeny Shevchuk and Transnistrian Chief Negotiator Nina Shtanski, IPN reports.

According to a press release from the OSCE Mission to Moldova, Ambassador Andrii Deshchytsia will also open an art exhibition in the Tiraspol Office of the OSCE Mission to Moldova. After the meeting in Tiraspol, on September 26, Deshchytsia will meet in Chisinau with the Moldovan Chief Negotiator Eugen Carpov.

On September 27, he will meet with the Moldovan Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Natalia Gherman and with the Head of the Parliamentary Working Group on Transnistrian Settlement Vasile Shova.

Deshchytsia and Brush will also travel to Vadul lui Voda to address the participants of the Model OSCE, a simulation exercise of the OSCE Permanent Council, which aims to show students from both banks of the Nistru Rriver how the Organization works.
