The former coach of Zimbru Semion Altman was appointed director of the national football team of Moldova, IPN reports.
Altman, 72, held a similar post within the Ukrainian Football Federation. In that period, Ukraine reached the quarterfinals of the 2006 World Cup.
With Zimbru, Semion Altman won the title of champion for two times and reached the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League. He also trained Tavria, Luci-Energhia, Ilichivets, Chernomorets, Metalurg Donetsk and Dinamo Moscow.
