Valeriu Tabuica is the next in line on the Democratic Party's list to become MP after Valeriu Guma announced today he was vacating his seat. Tabuica has told IPN he thinks he will accept the job, but he still needs to consult with the party's team before making a final decision.
Valeriu Tabuica, 48, is the director of a company called Vista-Const based in Ocnita town.
Valeriu Guma announced he was stepping down as MP and leaving the Democrats' ranks altogether to protect the reputation of his family and of the party, following a court sentence in Romania.
The Democratic Party has 16 deputies in the Moldovan Parliament.
