A number of 1,205 residential buildings out of a total of 2,701 have been connected to the heating system. As many as 130 kindergartens out of 133,39 schools out of 143 and 37 medical institutions out of a total of 70 are supplied with heat, the deputy head of the General Housing and Amenities Division Gennady Dubița said in the ordinary meeting of officials of municipal services, IPN reports.
In the suburban settlements of Chisinau, 66 residential blocks out of a total of 170, three kindergartens out of 12, three schools out of 21 and three medical institutions out of nine started to be heated.
JSC Termoelectrica, jointly with JSC Apă-Canal Chişinău, ensured the connection of the housing sector, educational institutions and medical institutions in the municipality of Chisinau to the centralized heating system according to the concluded contracts, based on the requests to be supplied with heat.
The heating season for the capital's consumers started on October 17, in accordance with an order signed by deputy mayor of Chisinau Irina Gutnic.
