MP of the Party “Dignity and Truth Platform” (PPPDA) Dinu Plîngău said it became known that almost all the persons who were recently promoted to posts at the Supreme Court of Justice (SCJ) have been involved in terrible acts, including as members of criminal groups and as participants in the events in “Pădurea Domnească”, in raider attacks, dispossessions of land, etc. The secret report by the Security and Intelligence Service and information from outside the system show that these persons are fully incompatible with the status of SCJ member, IPN reports.
In a news conference, Dinu Plîngău said the agenda of the meeting of the legal commission on appointments and immunities consisted of a number of items, such as the ‘shameful’ bills on which Parliament voted on December 3 and also a draft law to promote a number of judges to the SCJ, including vice presidents.
The MP said he was ready to reveal classified information about those candidates, but ten minutes before the news conference he was informed that the subject of appointment of judges at the SCJ was removed from the agenda. According to him, this is a small victory of the PPPDA as insistent approaches were made today and yesterday for this subject to be reviewed.
Dinu Plîngău noted the promotion of those judges is an attempt to obstruct justice as Ilan Shor had an agreement to return to Moldova, which was reached in summer.
The MP warned the judiciary not to become involved in political sandals and not to allow to be corrupted.
