As many as 296 new infections with the novel coronavirus were confirmed in Moldova on June 10 after doing 1,192 primary tests. The number of infections now totals 10,321. Of these, 4,020 are active cases, IPN reports, with reference to the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection.

Of those who were confirmed with the infection today, 31 are healthcare workers, four of whom are doctors and 21 are nurses.

Of the total number of patients with COVID-19 who are in the hospital, 308 are in a serious state and 20 of them were put on a ventilator.

After by 12 deaths from COVID-19 were reported during two consecutive days, six more deaths were announced today. The death toll in Moldova now stands at 371.
