A boy aged 1 year and 10 ten months has been hospitalized for mushroom poisoning treatment. Dr. Eufalia Negreata of the Chisinau Emergency Service has told Info-Prim Neo that the child got intoxicated after eating canned mushrooms. A 59-year-old man from Chisinau's suburban town of Stauceni called an ambulance complaining he had fallen from height. The arrived doctors diagnosed the man with multiple injuries, including head trauma, contusion of the heart, and abdominal injuries. Last night an ambulance was called by a woman who told doctors her husband, 29, had been brought home in advanced state of drunkenness and with a stab wound. The man was admitted to the Emergency Hospital. At around 1:00 early in the morning a drunk man, 29, ran into a fence as he drove his motorcycle. The man suffered head trauma and facial soft tissue injuries, being transported to the Emergency Hospital. Over the past day and night the Chisinau Emergency Service responded to 700 calls, including 63 cases of trauma, 51 cases of acute viral diseases, 5 cases of mumps, 15 acute coronary syndromes, and 7 brain strokes.
