Nearly 1,000 places in the first grade remained unoccupied in the municipality of Chisinau after the two stages of admission to primary and secondary educational institutions for the 2023-2024 school year.

The parents who haven’t yet enrolled their children in the first grade are urged to do it in the nesters period of time by presenting in person an application to the educational institutions that have free places, IPN reports.

According to the Chisinau City Hall, 4,583 children were registered at the first enrolment stage and 4,015 children were registered at the second enrolment stage.

The admission results after the two stages were posted on informative boards in educational establishments.
