The National House of Social Insurance (CNAS) said the recipients of allowances intended for families with children can collect the benefits from banks or post offices, regardless of the place of residence, IPN reports.

A sum of 28.3 million lei was transferred for paying the one-time childbirth allowance, 29.8 million lei for paying the monthly childcare allowance for children younger than 2 years to uninsured persons and 121.9 million lei for paying the same allowance to insured persons. Also, 1.2 million lei will go to pay monthly support allowances for looking after twins, while 2.1 million lei to pay the paternity benefit.

In accordance with the payment schedule, the CNAS since the start of July until now transferred 1.839,91 billion lei for paying compensations, unemployment benefit, social assistance, cold-month allowances and lifetime allowances to sportspersons and trainers, etc.
