The adopted children and the children under tutelage or guardianship will receive a monthly allowance for food, clothing, footwear and personal hygiene objects of 700 lei from January 1 this year, up 100 lei on last year, IPN reports.

According to Minister of Labor, Social Protection and Family Ruxanda Glavan, 4,500 children will receive such an allowance. The money needed for the purpose was planned in the 2015 draft state budget law, but, under a Government decision of December 9, 2014, it was transferred to the budgets of the territorial-administrative units of the second level.
