The prosecutors arrested an employee of the General Police Commissariat who is suspected of murdering Valeriu Boboc, Info-Prim Neo reports. His name is not made public. In a communique, the Prosecutor General's Office says a large volume of work has been done so far to elucidate all the aspects of the case, including by questioning witnesses and performing a set of examinations. The investigations go on. Valeriu Boboc was found dead after the protests. The first official version was that the 23-year-old man got poisoned with an unidentified substance. At the insistence of his family and the civil society, the body of the man was exhumed. The new medical examination performed by a foreign expert showed he died as a result of the head injuries he received. Witnesses said they saw how Valeriu Boboc was beaten to death by the police. Damian Hancu, a young man studying in France who was in the Great National Assembly Square that night, is expected to come to Chisinau to give testimony.
