The article forms part of IPN’s information campaign that presents biographical data, information about the incomes and property and professional experience of candidates for mayor general of the municipality of Chisinau.

Alla Popova contends for mayor general of the municipality of Chisinau on behalf of Moldova’s Patriots Party that is led by Mihail Garbuz.

The candidate is 44. She is married and has three children. At present, she lives in Tiraspol town.

She graduated from the school in Tighina, then from the Chisinau Technological College and the Moscow Institute of Entrepreneurship and Law. The last post she held is that of director of an enterprise with about 300 employees.

For January 1 – December 31, 2022, together with her husband, Alla Popova declared salaries of 66,000 Transnistrian rubles from “Sova” SRL. Other data or property is not indicated in the property and personal interests statement submitted to the electoral body.

The candidate’s team in the election campaign announced a number of priorities. The banning of propaganda and utilization of the symbols of Nazism and unanimous is the top priority. The team promised to adopt a general development plan for the municipality of Chisinau, to develop transport infrastructure and to relocate the bus stations outside Chisinau. Among the priorities are also to create a municipal bank, to build an unground parking garage under the central square of Chisinau, to erect a waste treatment plant and to set up recreational centers for citizens.

As it was decided by draw, Alla Popova of Moldova’s Patriots Party will be under No. 18 on the ballot.
