All the types of state social insurance pensions were increased by 9.6% on April 1, 2012, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Family, the minimum old age pension is now 702.54 lei, as against 641.00 lei before April 1. The minimum pension in agriculture is 625.44 lei, the minimum pension for the third disability degree – 339.85 lei, for the second degree – 482.64 lei, while for the first degree – 499.80 lei.
The pensions for military men and personnel of command bodies and troops of the internal affairs bodies were raised by 7.6%.
In Moldova, there are 638,200 recipients of pensions of different types. A sum of 475.8 million lei has been allocated from the state social insurance budget and 20.2 million lei from the state budget for increasing pensions this year.
