All stalls will be taken away from parks by end-October

Al the stalls situated and parks and the streets of Chisinau municipality will be taken away by the end of October. From next year, the kiosks could work only in summer and the lists of products that could be sold will be limited. The regulations concerning the method of placing and relocating stalls were presented on August 3, IPN reports.

The head of the working group for examining and assessing the placing and relocation of kiosks in Chisinau Valeriu Bogdan, head of the Legal Assistance Division, said in the summer of 2019 the business entities will need three documents to be able to place a stall selling cooling drinks, hot drinks and ice-cream – a location scheme that will be issued by the district head’s office, a certificate from the National Food Safety Agency and a notification from the e-government platform.

The working group suggested that they mayor general should warn the district heads that new stalls and stands cannot be placed or relocated, while the General Trade, Public Food and Services Division was recommended to work out a concept concerning the esthetic and sanitary requirements for kiosks that will be put up in the municipality of Chisinau next summer.

Acting mayor of Chisinau Ruslan Codreanu said those who will violate the given regulations will be penalized. Most of the stalls placed illegally are now situated on the main streets of Rascani and Ciocana districts – on Moscovei and Mircea cel Batran Boulevards – almost 400 in number.
