All the stalls and improvised selling places situated on the streets Armeneasca and Mitropolit Varlaam near the Central Market of Chisinau have been taken away. On February 9, the police started to patrol the area and trading on the streets adjoining the Central Market is banned, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the City Hall. The street vendors working in the area will be able to sell inside the market. The Central Market’s administration created over 300 authorized places for selling fruit and vegetables grown in Moldova and 17 places for selling citrus fruit.
