Alexei Tulbure: Leaders of the three parties negotiated own interests

The negotiations on the ruling alliance represented the negotiation of won interests, political analyst Alexei Tulbure said in the talk show “Place for dialogue” on Radio Moldova station, IPN reports.

“These people, who are criticized for the disastrous results achieved, actually agreed what posts to hold. They defended their own interests. The national interests didn’t prevail. The main problem is not the absence of a government, but the kind of the future government,” stated the analyst.

Referring to the Liberal leader Mihai Ghimpu’s statement that he could leave the alliance if things go wrong, Alexei Tulbure said this is an unclear position. “For me, the position of the Liberals, who negotiate the restoration of the stolen billion at the talks on a political alliance, is not clear,” he stated, adding that great pressure is exerted on Vlad Filat to make him concede particular positions in the future government.

Alexei Tulbure considers the leader of the PSRM Igor Dodon was indeed offered the post of Premier in a center-left coalition by the PDM, as this asserted. “This is not excluded. It may be a reserve plan of Plahotniuc. Let’s remember the year 2010, when the PDM coquetted with the PCRM and with Sergey Naryshkin so as to obtain more advantages and concessions on the part of the PLDM and PL. They could even make use of the gold reserves of the PCRM,” said the analyst.
