Alexei Sancov set three records for the Republic of Moldova at the international swimming tournament in St. Petersburg, which involved athletes from seven countries, IPN reports.
Alexei Sancov, who lives in the United States, finished sixth in 200 m butterfly with the result of 1.55, seventh in 200 m freestyle with the result of 1.46.06 and 12th in 100 m butterfly with the result of 52.75. Alexei Sancov achieved B standard for qualifying for the Tokyo Olympics.
Pavel Alovatskii and Dan Siminel also competed at the tournament in St. Petersburg, in 50 m and 400 me freestyle, respectively.
