The best Moldovan footballer in 2013 hasn’t got a salary for five months and is decided to leave the holder of Russia’s Cup FC Rostov. His salary is US$70,000 and he thus hasn’t been paid US$350,000, IPN reports.
The team’s captain Stipe Pletikosa was the first to speak about the problems experienced by FC Rostov. “We have endured for five months, but Pletikosa from Croatia could no longer bear. We have families that we must feed. If the situation does not improve, I will leave Rostov,” Alexandru Gatcan stated for a TV channel.
Gatcan has played for Rostov since 2008. In Russia, he also performed for Spartak Chelyabinsk and Rubin Kazan. For the national football team of Moldova, he has played 39 matches and scored two goals.
