Moldovan wrestler Alexandru Borș for the second time became European Under-17 champion, IPN reports.
At the competition in Tirana, he scored five victories in the 80 kg weight class - against Russia’s Zakhar Troshyn, Romania’s David Metea, Germany’s Viktor Schlegel, Bulgaria’s Grigor Chernakov and Razmik Yepremyan of Armenia.
Another two Moldovan wrestlers - Andrei Costerec (45 kg) and Marcel Andronache (51 kg) - lost the match for the bronze medal.
