A number of 350 athletes took part in the second Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Championships of Moldova. They were divided into eight age categories and 45 weight categories, IPN reports.

One of the best Moldovan wrestlers, Alexandru Babii, didn’t have worthy opponents in the 65 kg class. This year he also won gold in the European Juniors Championship and bronze in the World Championship. “We have young people with prospects. I’m sure that the results on the international arena will be better and better,” president of the Moldovan Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation Roman Babii has told IPN.

In several weeks, the national team enters the training session and in autumn will compete in the European Seniors Championship.
