Greco-Roman wrestler Alexandrin Guțu has won gold in the Men’s UWW U20 European Championships in Rome, IPN reports.
The pupil of Roman Zgardan scored five victories in the 77 kg wright class, against Sweden’s Simon Christer Borkebhagen, Italy’s Andrea Cremonin, Turkey’s Yuksel Saricicek, Hungary’s Rajmund Zurai and Tornike Mikeladze of Georgia.
Moldovan wrestlers Alexei Hahlovschi (67 kg) and Ilia Chernovol (82 kg) will compete today.
