The candidate of the Party of Socialists in the presidential elections, Alexandr Stoianoglo, undertakes to sign a declaration on guaranteeing the irreversibility of the European integration course of the Republic of Moldova. During Sunday's debates with Action and Solidarity Party candidate Maia Sandu, Alexandr Stoianoglo said that regardless of who will win on November 3, this difficult path of modernization, freedoms, and justice must continue, IPN reports. 

"As a person who was involved in the negotiations on visa liberalization with Europe, for our citizens I guarantee that the borders, the borders, will remain open. As a man of the law and only of the law, I promise that in Moldova there will be no repression against opponents, no party political monopoly and no usurpation of justice by all kinds of exceptional councils and commissions," the PSRM candidate said.

He reiterated the objectives stipulated in his platform. These include stopping population exodus, implementation of the "Dignity Return" program, European modernization of Moldova - in economy, infrastructure, education and health. He also emphasized guaranteeing citizens' rights and making neutral Moldova an active provider of peace and security in the region.

The PSRM candidate entered the second round of voting after obtaining the second highest electoral score in the October 20 elections - 25.98%, after PAS candidate, the current president, Maia Sandu, who got 42.45% of the votes.
