The Party of Socialists’ candidate for presidency Alexandr Stoianoglo vows to be an apolitical, unbiased, balanced President and a faithful servant of the Constitution. He said that his goal is not political in character and is to ensure the safety, peace and wellbeing of Moldova, IPN reports.
"Dear voters, sympathizers and supporters of the candidates who did not reach the runoff presidential election, the electoral campaign is coming to an end. Each of you invested not just a vote, but a dream and trust in the values you represent. I recognize the contribution of each candidate and I believe that many of their views and proposals deserve to be integrated. As a President, I will be committed to transforming the solutions proposed by all those who fought for a better Moldova into concrete initiatives for citizens,” the presidential candidate stated in a press briefing.
The politician noted that on November 3, the people of Moldova will make the final decision as to the country’s course: it will continue its path dominated by hysteria, empty promises and endless searches for enemies of the people, or will choose the path of unification of all political forces in the name of the Republic of Moldova. "We will continue the mass exodus and impoverishment of the population or we will finally set off on the path of modernization and real development of the country. The answers depend on the civic maturity and patriotism of each of you. Dear voters, I’m not a politician who is ideologically affiliated with a doctrine or a political party. I will be an apolitical, unbiased, balanced President and a faithful servant of the Constitution," said the Party of Socialists’ candidate.
He is firmly committed to building a Moldova where every voice is heard and every community is supported. "I will put an end to divisions and propose a genuine European model, where the state serves the citizen, not political interests. I’m calling on you not only to vote for me, but also to unite for justice, the justice that the Republic of Moldova and its citizens deserve. Please, stand with me on November 3 and then during the next four years," said Alexandr Stoianoglo.
On November 3, Moldovan voters will elect the future head of state. The runoff involves the PAS’ candidate, incumbent President Maia Sandu and the PSRM’s candidate Alexandr Stoianoglo.
