A storehouse where alcoholic beverages were counterfeit was closed. Press officer of the Chisinau Police Division Natalia Stati has told IPN that the owner of the storehouse kept toxic chemicals in the same storehouse, which he added to the alcoholic drinks. The merchandise was sold on the markets of Chisinau.

As a result of inspections, the police found out that the businessman didn’t have a relevant authorization, license or certificate issued by the competent authorities.

The storehouse was illegally set up on the territory of a center for children and youth based in Chisinau. This was closed. The owner faces a fine of 2,000 to 6,000 lei.
